Incoming Student Mobility at C.D.A. College

This October, C.D.A. College was thrilled to host a vibrant group of eight students from Hungary, marking another successful chapter in our ongoing commitment to international education through the Erasmus+ program. From October 7 to October 18, 2024, students from the Aesthetics and Hairdressing Departments immersed themselves in an intensive practical training program at our campuses in Larnaca and Nicosia.

Vocational Education & Training

During their intensive training at C.D.A. College, students from the Aesthetics and Hairdressing Departments engaged in a variety of specialized training modules designed to enhance their practical skills and professional understanding. They learned advanced makeup techniques to enhance beauty, utilized Laser & IPL technology for aesthetic treatments, and mastered cellulite massage to improve skin texture. Additionally, they delved into contemporary hair coloring methods, hairdressing and styling techniques that set trends, and professional approaches to aesthetic acne treatment. The students also honed their skills in traditional and modern methods of men’s haircutting, shaving, and in perfecting manicure and pedicure techniques. This comprehensive curriculum ensured a well-rounded development of their capabilities.

Achievements & Recognition

Each participant received a Certificate of Attendance, acknowledging their commitment and learning during the mobility. Furthermore, they were awarded Europasses, which document their skills and experiences in a format that is widely recognized across Europe. This ensures that the participants’ new skills are acknowledged and can be effectively communicated in their professional journeys.

Impact on Students and the College

This mobility not only enriched the students with practical skills but also fostered an environment of cultural exchange. The students gained insights into the Cypriot way of life and professional practices, while our local students and staff enjoyed the fresh perspectives brought by the Hungarian participants. This interaction promotes a deeper understanding and appreciation of cultural diversities, enhancing the educational experience for everyone involved.

Looking Forward

The success of this program has reinforced C.D.A. College’s dedication to fostering international collaborations and providing our students with a global perspective. We look forward to more such enriching experiences that help shape the careers of future professionals in aesthetics and hairdressing.
