“You will never be completely at home again, because part of your heart always will be elsewhere. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place” – Miriam Adeney

International > C.D.A International

Through the years the College has managed to create important liaisons with international agencies that helped for the recruitment of students. Students registered to the College from any country outside the European Union are considered as International. C.D.A accepts students from a large number of countries in Asia (China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Vietnam), Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Congo, Senegal, Mali, Egypt, Morocco), Middle East (Lebanon, Jordan), Europe (Russia, Ukraine). Recruiting of students is handled by our Head International Office in Nicosia which then directs students to all four of our campuses.

Cyprus as center for International Studies

Cyprus has been a great pool of international students for many years now since it offers a generally safe and friendly environment at an affordable cost. There is a large community of international students so this gives newcomers a sense of belonging. Besides the weather and the sun that everyone is familiar with and can be considered as another advantage the island is very small so it makes it easier to commute from place to place. It can be considered as a hub between the east and the west since its location is at the crossroads of Europe, Asia and Africa.

Through the years the College has managed to create an advantage over other higher education institutions due to:

  • Offering programs from Diploma to Master level which gives the chance to students to create a complete academic profile.
  • Four campuses found in the main cities of the island give the opportunity to the student to select studying to a coastal area or to the capital of the island.
  • Years of experience working with international students. Most of our students knew about us from former students so they were assured that they were registering to a safe and supportive environment.
  • Administrative and academic staff have been working with the College for many years and their expertise is detrimental in case a student has a problem or a concern to see it through that it will be resolved. It is embedded in our staff that we need to make any student feel acknowledged. Hence, there is an open door policy to all of our offices and we know students by name.
  • The College has also involved the use of ECTS in all of its programs. These are the European Transfer Credits that the students can use to make their transfer from one European educational institute to another.
  • Use of Moodle Platform for online teaching and examinations
