The term health is very broad and general. Physical. Emotional, social and mental health are all part of the holistic approach of the health field. This academic program seeks to provide specialized scientific theoretical knowledge to candidates in health related specializations.  Alternative approaches and methods are introduced in trlation to stress management and wellness in health promotion. The Master in Stress Management and Wellness in Health promotion consists of twelve (12) courses and it requires a minimum of 90 ECTS credits to graduate. There is no other in-between titles and the passing mark is 60%.

  • To provide students with comprehensive knowledge in the field of health and wellness that will enable them to become effective professionals in their field of employment.
  • To explain specialized scientific theories of a holistic approach to health and wellness in accordance with the requirements of modern society.
  • Strengthen the ability to manage health, stress and wellness problems to improve citizens’ quality of life.
  • To understand the modern trends in health in order to make the most documented decisions as specialized professionals in their field of work.
  • To prepare students with specialized knowledge and skills in the promotion of health and well-being and in the management of stress.
  • To investigate factors that affect the health and well-being of society (environment, gender, perceptions, etc.)
  • To set, research and develop modern strategies towards a holistic approach to health promotion.
  • Holders of an undergraduate degree in nursing, aesthetics, psychology, physical education, physiotherapy and other qualifications related to health professions.
  • Holders of an Undergraduate degree from any internationally recognized four – year program or
  • Three – year undergraduate program from UK universities or Respective Bachelor of Science (BSc or BS) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees are accepted
  • Priority will be given to applicants who have at least 1 year of full-time employment,
  • Proof of proficiency in Greek language if the candidate is a foreigner,
  • Proof of English language proficiency such as: TOEFL or IELTS or GCE or equivalent, unless they have a degree from an English-speaking institution
  • Two letters of recommendation from academics or individuals involved in the candidate’s professional field
  • Full CV accompanied by a text describing the reasons for wishing to enroll in the master’s degree
  • Candidates will be invited to a personal interview to evaluate their potential to contribute to the Program.

A system of continuous (course work) which is 50% and final Exams which is 50% and the Passing mark is 60%, as follows:

  • During the semester, the instructor evaluates the students through a) Course Work which consists of: Tests, assignments, individual or group project, mid-term exams and / or other tests. The average of the scores is the continuous assessment score.
  • The final examination is carried out at the end of the semester.
  • The Passing mark is: 60%
