The main purpose and objectives of the BA Business Administration program of study is to prepare

successful business professionals in profit and non – profit organizations and for establishing a

fundamental understanding of business and how various aspects of it apply to the real world.

  • To appreciate the emerging PESTEL environment of multicultural, political, global and domestic economic and financial theories and their application to the challenging business setting.
  • To identify customer needs and understand the application of the business/marketing theories and the marketing mix (product/services, price, distribution, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence.
  • To understand the business ethical situations, the laws regarding corporate governance, and the role of their personal integrity and values, cultural and gender diversity in the organization.
  • To realize the importance of the evolving technology and the Internet, as they influence the roles and techniques of management in the global environment.
  • To obtain well-developed problem-solving skills, decision making through the application decision making theories, and adapt and innovate in a new competitive business environment.
  • To possess leadership skills, understand group and individual dynamics, and be able to work in teams so incorporate them in the strategic planning of the business
  • A recognized Secondary School Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualifications;
  • Evidence of proficiency in the English language

 ENROLMENT CRITERIA OF A STUDENT

Students of all genders (male / female / other) are entitled to be registered at the college, either Cypriots or foreigners without discriminating on the race, color or religion. Any student who wants to register at the college must be a holder of a Higher Secondary School leaving Certificate or of an equivalent degree. The College accepts registration forms from all graduates of a six-grade public or private institution of Higher Secondary School, regardless of the final graduation grade. 

50% Continuous Assessment (various methods, such as participation, mid-term examinations, case studies, quizzes, assignments, presentations) and,

50% Final Examination

Passing Mark: 50%

The students are assessed via continuous assessment throughout the duration of the semester, which forms the Coursework grade and the final written exam. The coursework and the final exam grades are weighted 50% and 50%, respectively, and compose the final grade of the course. Students are assessed through continuous assessment, through tests, case-study discussion, and class participation.
