The science of Aesthetics focuses both on being and looking healthy. The human presence today requires, perhaps more than at any other time, the emergence of the scientific nature of Aesthetics, with the aim of strengthening the morality of consciousness.

Aesthetics as a professional sector deals with the perception and evaluation of the beautiful. It refers to theoretical and laboratory knowledge according to which the external appearance of the human face and body can be improved. Consequently, it can be considered as a science (theory and practice) that explores and approaches the concept of “good” and “beautiful” in the various aspects and perspectives of art, the environment, nature and people.

The field of Aesthetics approaches the human body feels by following criteria dictated by the aesthetic perceptions of each era. Indicates and proposes, accepts and applies methods and techniques aimed at maintaining, to the extent of possible, the youthful and generally elegant appearance of the face and body.

The purpose of the program of study is to transfer the knowledge of theory and technology of the field of Aesthetics.  The experienced teachers aim to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge in order to ensure their excellent education / training for their professional career and development.

Great emphasis is placed on practical training which helps to gain sufficient experience to enable students to successfully practice the profession of aesthetic based of their studies.

Another goal of the curriculum is to provide the necessary supplies to the Aesthetics

students so that they are competitive for employment in the current demanding field of

Aesthetics.

  • To provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure their excellent education / training for their professional career and advancement.
  • Provide broad-based education in aesthetics-related sciences (eg Anatomy, Physiology, Physics, Chemistry, Dermatology, Hygiene).
  • train and practice the latest techniques in aesthetics according to the European standards. 
  • Proper diagnosis and treatment of problems, such as dermatology with close and constructive cooperation with other specialties (Endocrinologist, Dermatologist, Gynecologist, Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon, etc.) and based on the data of Professional Ethics and Science to achieve the desired result. To understand the modern trends in health in order to make the most documented decisions as specialized professionals in their field of work.

A recognized Secondary School Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualifications

A system of continuous (course work) which is 40% and final Exams which is 60% and the Passing mark is 50%, as follows:

  • During the semester, the instructor evaluates the students through a) Course Work which consists of: Tests, assignments, individual or group project, mid-term exams and / or other tests. The average of the scores is the continuous assessment score.
  • The final examination is carried out at the end of the semester.
  • The Passing mark is: 50%
